Wear SoftPile™/FibrePile™ on the colder, wetter
days to keep you dry and warm. There’s nothing like it
around the shipyard or lumberyard. Because of its unique construction,
SoftPile™/FibrePile™ retains a layer of insulating
air around the body. The pile doesn’t absorb water, so
body moisture is expelled.
FibreLock™ allow for hard wear and excellent flexibility
withno binding. Worn under wind or waterproof clothing, SoftPile™/FibrePile™
will keep you warm under the most severe conditions. Helly
hansen utilized a patented FibreLock™ knitting process
which anchors the threads to prevent the pile form shedding.
The process gives a particularly hardwearing pile fabric which
also eliminates the need for a chemical coating.
Helly Hansen F459 Original Jacket
The top half of our original polar suit. Full zip pile jacket
with knitted cuffs and waistband. Can be worn as heavy weight
underwear or as middle insulating layer.
