Now with a dedicated reflective target acquisition operation, the Forest Pro opens up a world of possibilities, allowing you to acquire accurate distances and heights - in real working conditions. Be it light rain, fog, snow, or even the densest brush, LTI’s Forest Pro will accurately and conveniently handle your measurement tasks.

The operating menu allows the user to make height measurements with either a two-shot (includes height offset - such as DBH) or the standard three-shot field procedure, right from system boot up.

The Forest Pro can acquire range from a wide variety of reflective targets (prisms, reflectors, signs and tapes). The cooperative design feature of this laser was implemented to ensure outstanding operability in dense brush environments. .

The LH Series laser rangefinder/hypsometers combine all the features of the XL and XT Series rangefinders plus the ability to measure heights and angles. The applications for this versatile measuring tool range from construction to forestry and, well, any task that requires measurement of line-of-sight distance, horizontal distance, height or angle. Accuracy on the LH Series hypsometers is +/- one yard for distances, +/- 0.2 degrees for angles and +/- one foot (plus 5% of reading) for height.

Measures Distances, Heights and Angles Distance Measuring: Place the transponder at one of the measuring points, hold the measuring unit at the other point and press the on/ off button. The distance will now appear on the display of the measuring unit.

Impulse Laser

Laser Technology introduces the IMPULSE, a light-weight, low cost laser for a full range of professional measuring. The Impulse puts the power and speed of a laser rangefinder and optional tilt sensor into the palm of your hand. Simply aim and push a button. The Impulse acquires distance or height in less than a second, all without prisms or reflective targets. Add either the MapStar Compass Module or Angle Encoder to the Impulse, and point your measurements in a whole new direction!
